Let’s Chase Our Dreams

Bay Area Private Tutoring for Middle and High School Students

I provide one-on-one private tutoring for middle and high school students, with a focus on English, history, test prep, and private school and college admissions support. I also work with elementary students who need strong foundations in reading, writing, and academic confidence. I primarily work remotely with students across the United States. My work is best suited for families seeking thoughtful, individualized academic support rather than large tutoring centers.

Frequently Asked Questions

What grades do you work with?

I work with elementary, middle, and high school students, focusing on academic writing, reading comprehension, test prep, and admissions preparation. As a former teacher for Bay Area schools, I’ve had the pleasure of working with students of all ages. As a former education consultant, I love strategizing with families to help them get into their top choice schools whether it’s for private school applications or college. No student should ever feel like they’re not enough so I put emphasis on building up self confidence, crafting their voice, and owning their story.

How often should students meet with a tutor?

Most students meet once or twice per week depending on academic goals, workload, and upcoming deadlines. For families in the application cycle, I highly encourage to meet at a higher volume. The same goes for students with upcoming finals.

Do you help with private school and college admissions?

Yes. I support students with essay development, interview preparation, and overall application strategy. My focus is on differentiation and helping your child stand out amongst the high levels of competition.

Do you work with students outside the Bay Area?

Yes. In addition to Bay Area students, I work remotely with students across the United States and globally. I have a reputation for helping Chinese families apply for colleges and scholarships in the United States.

Proven Academic Support

I have worked with students across a wide range of academic levels, helping them improve writing clarity, confidence, and academic performance while preparing for competitive admissions processes.
